Limited 5 Year Warranty for Signature® Bathware Products
Liberty Hardware Mfg. Corp. (“Liberty Hardware”) warrants to the original consumer purchaser that this Signature® Bathware product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for five (5) years from the date of purchase by the original consumer.
For warranty claims, call Liberty Hardware at 1-800-652-7277 or write to Liberty Hardware Mfg. Corp., 140 Business Park Drive, Winston-Salem, North Carolina 27107 within 30 days of discovering the defect or damage. Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must be provided to Liberty Hardware for all warranty claims. For claims covered by this warranty, Liberty Hardware will provide you with a replacement product. If the product you purchased has been discontinued at the time of your claim, Liberty Hardware, at its option, will either refund your purchase price or provide you with a similar product. Damage resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation or assembly, improper maintenance, any use in violation of instructions furnished by us, or any use of replacement parts other than genuine Liberty Hardware parts is not covered under this warranty.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIBERTY HARDWARE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT OR OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR COSTS (SUCH AS LABOR CHARGES), WHETHER BASED ON BREACH OF EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. Some states/provinces do not allow limitations or exclusions of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY. Some states/provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty may last, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state/province to state/province. This warranty is applicable to Signature® Bathware products that are not made from wood, are manufactured after May 1, 2005, and are installed in the United States of America, Puerto Rico, Canada, or Mexico. This warranty is not transferable
